The vision for the Philippine National Committee is to be

An institutionalized and dynamic organization with a strong and stable membership and identified throughout the country as an extension of the mission of UNIFEM in providing financial and technical assistance to approaches aimed at fostering women’s empowerment and gender equality.

This vision statement indicates the following features to be achieved:

• Institutionalized stability such that the organization goes on despite changes in the officers and members of the Board of Trustees;
• Continuity of programs that build on the achievements of past biennia; and
• Commitment and dedication of members to organization objectives rather than personalities.
