The UNIFEM Philippine National Committee (PNC) is one of UNIFEM’s 17 National Committees. It is unique among other national committees in that it is the only one located and operating in a developing country. In view of this, there has been the understanding with UNIFEM New York that the PNC will direct its concerns to women issues in the Philippines. All other National Committees dedicate their interest and resources to developing countries in general all over the world.
